Parade on Sunday, June 21st – 5:30PM
A “mini” parade is a perfect way to end Father’s Day, right?!
The National Charter School Association Conference is being held in New Orleans this year, and they are organizing a little “Welcome to New Orleans” parade for the 5000+ attendees. They’ve asked us to get involved to
to share the awesomeness that is NOLA, parading, and the Elvi.
The organization has secured 11 floats and 350 riders, so while the parade will be a short distance it will have quite a lot of folks participating. They’ve reached out to a couple of other groups as well, so this should turn out to be a great way to wrap up Father’s day. Lineup isn’t until 5:30 PM, so there’s plenty of time to get your BBQ on and still make it. And for those of you who bring an appetite, there will be some refreshments.
For those of you signed up, expect an announcement this week about lineup location and food details, and thank you so much for participating. For those of you who haven’t… come on and join the fun!
